TV oh TV!

Saturday, March 06, 2010 Posted by Aimee No comments
Hey guys :)) It's been a pretty hectic week (or life, rather). I'm so excited to finish everything this semester. See, we have this Educational Tour in Luzon this March 22-28. I seriously can't wait. Good vibes, good vibes, please :D

What's up, guys? I've been watching Rubi every night. How do you find it? Me thinks it's amazing. Goodbye goody-two-shoes. LOL! But I only watch it through live streaming. And I was searching for something on the Internet about this Direct TV and I found it through DirectSatTV.com. They have this different Direct TV channels to choose from and it's really nice since I've been wanting to see these programs in my boarding house. You see, I'm always bored. I always run out of things to do during my lean days. Well, lean means I do not pending projects to finish yet.

Direct TV price is so reasonable that I want to ask my mom about it. Please pray that she will like this idea, too :) We have this new house. I also hope it will be finished soon because this Direct TV is a promising idea. My dad loves to watch TV, too. Direct TV has lots of specials. I'm sure he'll love this.

Woman who suffered 18 miscarriages finally gives birth to her a lovely baby girl

After suffering 18 miscarriages, Angie Baker hardly dared hope that her 19th pregnancy would be successful.

But thanks to pioneering treatment, she is a mother at last.

Yesterday, as she cuddled her ten-week-old daughter Raiya, she said: 'She's my little miracle. I can't explain how I feel. I'm overwhelmed. It seems like a dream and I still have to pinch myself. She's perfect in every way.'

Boots

Saturday, January 02, 2010 Posted by Aimee No comments
Boots are pretty "in" these days. Have you noticed?
There are different types of boots. But, recently, I've been hearing a lot about these ugg boots. It's actually pretty, and suits very well to the cold weather outside. Also, for fashion! Woohoo.. Look at Kate Hudson wearing a pair of ugg..

It's actually pretty funny because my friend and I went to the mall recently, just to find a pair of boots. You see, I've been trying to picture myself wearing one, and it's pretty like-able somehow :)) I just hope it wouldn't cost a lot, eh? Or perhaps I should try looking for ugg boots sale now.

My Grown-Up Christmas List

Saturday, December 19, 2009 Posted by Aimee , , No comments
This is one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs. Very classic. Very inspiring still.

LYRICS:
My Grown-Up Christmas List

Do you remember me?
I sat upon your knee
I wrote to you
With childhood fantasies
Well I'm all grown up now
Can you still help somehow?
I'm not a child
But my heart still can dream

So here's my lifeful wish
My grown up Christmas List
Not for myself
But for a world in need

No more lives torn apart
That wars will never start
And time will heal our hearts
Every man will have a friend
That right will always win
And love will never end
This is my grown up
Christmas List

May kindness rules our lives
Not just the strong survive
Sweet tears
For all the thousand years
On mind
This is the world I pray
We will all share some way
Help me begin
By reaching out my hand

No more lives torn apart
That wars will never start
And time will heal our hearts
Every man will have a friend
That right will always win
And love will never end
This is my grown up
Christmas List

Why does this illusion
Call the innocence of you?
Maybe when the time believe
We can find the truth
No

No more lives torn apart
That wars will never start
And time will heal our hearts
Every man will have a friend
That right will always win
And love will never end
This is my grown up
Christmas List

This is the prayer
That I will keep
This is my grown up
Christmas list
Christmas list

My Christmas Wish-list

Monday, December 14, 2009 Posted by Aimee No comments
Christmas Day is fast approaching, isn't it? And it had already started to get cold. Somehow, I am thankful that there's no Air Conditioner in the boarding house that I'm staying, though it's still cold because there are plenty of trees here..

Anyway, it's only 11 days before Christmas Day and, I think, today is not too late to start my Christmas Wish List. I'm sure you already did yours. Right?? :P Ha ha ha! I know, I'm just late...
Actually, there are lots of things that I want, (oh! I'm sorry, Lord, for being a bit materialistic. I'm just human. I also want things that I can hold.) but let me just share to you my top five :)) [in random order]

1. Mac Book Pro - Well, who doesn't want one? It is super slim, super light, super durable. Whoah! Pure love... Ha ha ha! Is this available on E-Bay? I would love to bid.

2. Digital SLR - Recently, one of my friends purchased a second-hand DSLR (Canon EOS-20D), still in good quality condition. And, mind you, it's only for twenty-three thousand pesos (roughly, 500 USD). Imagine how jealous I was. The market price for that said camera is almost $2000. It's really a good buy. I just hope it's available on some unique auction sites, and it would cost cheaper. *dream on*

3. Apple iPod - I am truly a musically-inclined person. And during this Holiday season, it's really perfect to just relax, sit on the couch and have your music-hungry ears fed.

4. Complete Set of the Harry Potter Series - Everybody knows that I have an insatiable lust for books. I have always loved reading. Well, there are still other books that I so want to acquire, but that HP collection is on top of my list.. Yeah, I have read every book in that series, but I just borrowed. And, now, I want to have my own set displayed on my shelf.. Ha ha ha! Isn't it lovely? I'm imagining it right now :P

5. A FREE Asian Cruise - Who doesn't want this??? Tell me :P
